The company had been working with a TTT85 Titrator from Radiometer Analytical for many years and, although highly satisfied with its performance, was looking for a more modern replacement with additional features.

The Laboratory staff compared Radiometer Analytical’s TitraLab 865 dual-burette Potentiometric Titrator with a rival model.

They opted for the TitraLab 865 for the following reasons and haven’t been disappointed:

- Connection to a sample changer for added flexibility.

- Ease of use, speed of analysis plus reliability.

- Choice of different beaker sizes plus safe beaker handling.

- Compact and practical design with a built-in sample stand and choice of magnetic or propeller stirring.

The TitraLab 865 was initially purchased to perform SO2 analyses on 50-60 samples a day. The need for a sample changer soon became evident and the choice was obvious: a 20-position SAC80 from Radiometer Analytical.

Today, the staff wonder how they ever managed to live without this system which operates several times a day, saving time and manual work. With help from Radiometer Analytical, the application was modified to allow automated free and total SO2 analysis.In addition to reliable sample analysis, the system offers complete traceability for electrodes, burettes, standards and titrant. An added bonus, particularly appreciated by the team, was the possibility to choose text display in Danish.
