the useful «pH, Theory and Practice» Guide FREE ]
This booklet describes the basics
of pH measurement, providing key information on pH theory,
how a pH electrode works, calibration and maintenance of pH
electrodes, choosing the proper pH electrode for your application,
standard solutions and temperature influence on pH.

Looking for fully certified pH or conductivity
standard solutions?]
Radiometer Analytical is one of the only commercial laboratories
in Europe to be accredited for pH and conductivity reference
materials. When you use our standard solutions, you have the
assurance of full traceability to national standards with
certificates to prove it.

[ Conductivity
measurement on pure water according to USP24-NF19
]
Pharmaceutical laboratories supplying
products for the US market are obliged to respect the regulations
set down by the US Pharmacopoeia. The 5th supplement of USP24-NF19
lays down the rules for checking the quality of pure or fully
deionised water used for the production of injection products.
These rules are not particularly easy to implement and the
expertise of a manufacturer of analytical instruments like
Radiometer Analytical is a crucial aid.

Measurement quality in Karl Fischer
titration analyses ]
In addition to information concerning
traceability, Good Laboratory Practice requires pharmaceutical
laboratories to express the quality of results obtained. This
quality level is frequently expressed using the common Standard
Deviation (SD) or Relative Standard Deviation (RSD). The aim
of this article is to explain why a low SD or RSD does not
necessarily correspond to a high level of result accuracy
nor the result obtained correspond to the true value of your
sample. To simplify the expression of measurement quality
in Karl Fischer analyses, a volumetric titration system from
Radiometer Analytical offers automatic expression of the quality
of your measurements and corresponding accuracy.

Intelligent data filter ]
One of electrochemists’ main requirements is to be able to
keep only the significant data from the huge amount that they
capture. The "linear_extraction" post-run processing tool
ensures that no information is lost, for instance "peak signals".
With the "Linear extraction" intelligent filter, you can filter
in four dimensions (time, potential, current and coulombs).
Imagine a file containing 100000 points, the "Linear extraction"
can filter them down to a few hundred in one go.
